Learn how to use the science of motor skill development to its full advantage, using a FASTER hub that you get to take home with you, and get your clients lifting bigger and better than before. In the live day we will be playing with a lot of Red Beards conventional and unconventional weights, to show you movements that required the most of your strength to complete. In order to make you an AIQ CIMSPA Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Faster has teamed up with Red Beard to bring you our blended course. Three days of live training, combined with a huge online resource that you get to keep for as long as the course exists. The modules are below for you to look through, where you can see we do not just teach you how to be a great Level 4 trainer, but we also show you how to find your own voice and become a recognised expert in the industry yourself.

1. When does the course start?
You get to start learning the instant you sign up, then the second half of the Level 4 material will open up to you on the first day of the live teaching on November 20th.
2. Where does the course take place?
The course is blended so it is taught both online and also live at Red Beard Barbell Club. Red Beard Barbell Club, Unit 2 Moor Farm, Holyport, Maidenhead SL6 2HY
3. What qualifications do I need to take the course?
You need to have a Level 3 in Personal Training, as recognised by CIMSPA Reps or the equivalent coaching award in a sport. Degrees in Sports Science are also acceptable for this course.
4. What do I need to do to pass?
In order to pass the course you need to, Produce a proposal for Strength and Conditioning as a service in a sports club Write a full season programme for an athlete, produce a handout and a 15 minute talk on this programme Build a RAMP warm-up, co-ordination / agility and a plyometrics workout, which you have to demonstrate with a client Build a RAMP warm-up and then perform 2 of the 3 Olympic lifts with good and safe technique
5. Do I have to pay to resit the course if I fail?
This course is not a pass or fail course, instead as a company we can refer a test for not quite being up to standard, and then work with you to fill the knowledge gaps required to pass. We do not charge for this, and as long as you have put the work in, we see this as a measure of our teaching too, so work tirelessly to get you through the course with a pass.
6. What do I need to bring to the course?
The course takes place inside a lifting gym in November, so you should come prepared for the cold. It is also a drive for food, so if you want to bring your own lunch that is fine too. All of the days are practical, so being appropriate clothes for exercise, as well as a note pad to take notes on the day.
7. Do I have to be able to lift before I attend the course?
You do not need to be able to lift in order to do the course, as we will teach and coach this on the live days.
8. What happens if I miss a day?
If you are still capable of passing the course with the day missed, then we can use Zoom calls in a 1-1 situation, or we can arrange to meet in order to help you catch up. When we have space we also invite current and former students to come along as our guest as well, so you will always be welcome, space permitting, to keep enjoying the live days as well as the online information.
9. What happens after the course is finished?
When the course is complete, then you will still be a member of the hub club and the Level 4 S&C whatsapp groups, which stay lively and act as a place where we can share information, exercises and job opportunities.
10. What do I have to do to get a Red Hub like the ones in the photo?
You get a hub with the course purchase, if you want more than one, then once you have completed the course we can order more for you to purchase.
11. I find it hard to book study, is this still for me?
We teach using videos and ebooks combined with live sessions in Red Beard and 1-1 Zoom calls for support. Faster does not leave anyone behind and will work as hard as needed to make sure you can do the more academic side to the course, with confidence. This is a vital skill that will transfer into your work in sport where we will continue to support you due to our policy of supporting our students as much as possible.
