PT Manager's HMAC Charts Save The Movement You Looked At With Its Skills Ticked, And Today's Two Posts Say Where Money And Seeing Start
From the FASTER syllabus: this article is taught in full in PT Manager, free with any FASTER course →

In short: PT Manager's Movement by FASTER page holds HMAC charts, the Holistic Movement Assessment Chart taught in Module 6 of the Motor Skill Application Specialist course. A trainer names the movement, ticks the FASTER skills it uses (Locomotion, Rapid change of direction, Vertical displacement down, Reach, and Training with one body part in tension) and saves it. Each saved chart lists its skills and last-updated date and opens for editing. PT Manager opens at sign-up and is free with any FASTER course.
A chart is only useful if you can find it again
Today's second post covers Module 6 of the Motor Skill Application Specialist course, where trainers learn to look at movement in fine detail with the HMAC. Practice on loose paper gets lost. PT Manager has a page that keeps it.
It is called Movement by FASTER.
What the page does
The page lists every HMAC chart you have saved. Above the list sits a New chart box.
Type the movement, for example a golf swing or a client's best rep. Tick the FASTER skills it uses. A movement is usually several, so the boxes are ticks, not a single choice. The five on the page are Locomotion, Rapid change of direction, Vertical displacement down, Reach, and Training with one body part in tension.
Save it, and the chart joins the list with its skills shown as small labels and the date it was last updated. Press open and you are in the chart, where the movement is described a slice at a time.
The page describes movement and never judges anyone. That matches how the course teaches it.
A note on the skill list
The course text names seven skills, with Torso Still and Limb Still as separate items. PT Manager joins those two into one tick, Training with one body part in tension, so you will see five boxes. Same ideas, tidied for the form.
Where it sits with the other two posts
Today's first post is the Level 3 cash flow forecast, a short list of money coming in and going out. PT Manager's Money rooms are where real payments land once clients arrive. Today's second post is about seeing movement, and Movement by FASTER is where those charts are kept. One free account holds both.
