Group Training
The Level 2 certificate to coach group exercise, delivered through FOCUS Awards. No prior qualification needed. Fill a room instead of training one person at a time, and earn more from the same hour of your day.
What qualification do you need to teach group exercise?
To coach group exercise in the UK you need a Level 2 group training qualification. You do not need a personal trainer qualification first. With FASTER it is £300, paid in full or in three payments with Klarna at checkout, delivered through FOCUS Awards and carrying CPD points. You learn to manage mixed abilities, keep a room safe, and hold the energy of a group. It suits newcomers who want a recognised way into the industry without doing a full PT route, and working trainers who want to add group sessions and earn more from the hours they already work. Free return access to the content is included for life.

How it works
Who Group Training is for
Group Training is the Level 2 certificate to coach group exercise, delivered through FOCUS Awards. It is built for anyone who wants to lead a room rather than train one person at a time, and you do not need any prior qualification to start.
It suits two kinds of people. Newcomers who want a recognised way into the industry without doing a full personal trainer route first. And working trainers who already have clients and want to add group sessions, fill more of the timetable, and earn more from the hours they already work.
If you like the idea of energy, numbers and people feeding off each other, this is your room. And with free return access, everything you cover stays with you for good.

"My ongoing education and experience with FASTER has been second to none. The level of care and support combined with the access to knowledge from a broad spectrum of sources and trainers has blown other education providers out of the water. I have been training with FASTER since 2015 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future."

Checking a source and building the session round it are the same job, and PT Manager is where that reasoning lives
Today's earlier posts covered checking a source a client brings you and going further into research with FASTER Sports Scientist. PT Manager's programme builder is where that reasoning turns into an actual session, and stays there.
Sports ScienceLevel 2/3 asks you to spot a credible source. FASTER Sports Scientist teaches you to go and find one, one to one
Naming a credible source and finding the right evidence for a specific client are different skills. FASTER Sports Scientist teaches the second one, degree-level, one to one, without the university bill.
ResearchCheck the source, not the argument, when a client's video contradicts you. Level 2/3 already taught you how
A client turns up quoting a video that disagrees with you. Level 2/3 names identifying credible evidence-based sources as a core skill, so the answer is a check, not an argument.
