What this qualifies you for

The Level 3 Personal Trainer Certificate, held alongside your Level 2, is what lets you work unsupervised as a personal trainer in the UK. It is awarded by FOCUS Awards, an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation, and CIMSPA certificated, the professional body UK gym employers and insurers use to check qualifications.

With it you can train your own clients: in a gym, freelance, or in your own business. You can write and deliver personal training programmes, charge for 1-1 coaching, and take out the professional indemnity insurance the work requires. It also makes you eligible for CIMSPA membership at personal trainer level.

It is also the gateway upwards. Level 4 and specialist qualifications, including the populations that legally require extra certification, all build from here. With FASTER your access never expires, so every course you take stays with you for the whole career, not just the qualification.
